A beautiful 19th. century brass Neoclassical style Corinthian column table/side lamp.

This very desirable antique lamp is supplied with a 14” knife-pleat lampshade in Almond/cream, giving that country house look. A perfect combination for a stylish city or country residence.

When viewing the photographs, please note that the lampshade is still in its wrapper.  The maximum bulb wattage for this lampshade is 60 watt, for a slightly more subtle lighting effect a 40 watt bulb could be used.

The lamp is fitted with a new safe mode Bayonet-cap lamp holder and approximately 163cm length of antique gold braided flex.

A very handsome lamp with a stepped base, Corinthian column, and a nicely detailed capital with Acanthus leaf decoration.

In good antique condition and in full working order. This antique lamp has a nicely aged patina with a little Verdigris to the brass which just adds to the character of the lamp. This could easily be removed with some brass cleaner if desired.
