Cupid the winged angel/god, signed Auguste Moreau, 1861-1906, This superb piece came from an old family estate in Brittany and had been with the family for many years. This bronze bears the signature Auguste Moreau from the famous family of sculptors. The subject, the patina, the weight and attitude of this figure are quite superb.
